Set up an R&D / 3PL capability in unsused space in Moreno Valley.

Set up a portion of a Deckers distribution facility to work as a 3PL operation for another company. Identify what systems or licenses we'd need, what sort of support is required to create connections from WMS to another company's ERP system, and what sort of support staff we would need to make available to service another customer.

Due to the seasonal nature of the UGG brand, our distribution facilities experience significant gaps in workload during the Spring season each year. We want to take advantage of the space and labor we have available to us during the "off season" and offset a portion of the cost of running a building when we have a capacity surplus and capabilities that we could sell to others for part of the year.
